Bath : Rubbish!
Bath has a pretty bad reputation for litter. Efforts are being made in the city centre, but elsewhere street cleaners are non existant and there is litter everywhere.
This is not helped by the collection routines we have for rubbish and re-cycling. On Mondays it's newspapers, glass and plastic. On Wednesday's it's household rubbish, and then on every second friday it's gardening refuse and cardboard. (And of course this varies from street to street)
Which means a lot of days where people place refuse outside their houses.
And of course people put stuff out on the wrong days and it gets left out. Students just put stuff out and hope.
Can't we rationalise this a bit so that it's all picked up the same day?
