My favourite things to do in Bath

People keep asking me "What should I do when I visit Bath?", so here are my favourite things.

1. Book into a romantic hotel such as the Bath Spa, the Royal Crescent or the Bath Priory. Find Lastminute.com deals on Bath hotels here

2. Leave the car at home and walk around the city.

3. Visit the Roman Baths , they are unique and a must see.

4. Read about the history of Bath, preferably before you arrive.

5. Drink a bottle of bubbly in the courtyard at the Moon and Sixpence.

6. If you have kids take them to the huge play area in Victoria Park.

7. Eat lunch in the garden of the HopPole pub on the Upper Bristol Rod opposite the Victoria Park Play area, then watch a sporting event inside on their small screen TV.
If it's an international match you'll often find a group from the opposing nation in attendance to liven t hings up!

8. Try a flavoured coffee and apple strudle at Hansel and Gretal.

9. Cycle along the Bath to Bristol railway track.

10. Walk along the Kennet and Avon Canal.

11. Pick up a leaflet for the Skyline walk at the National Trust shop.

12. Just walk. Look up, see the countryside and head in that direction.

13. Watch Bath City at Twerton Park.

14 Visit the Botanical Gardcens(and don't foget the Great Dell).

15. Play a round of golf at the Approach Golf course...no booking required.

16. Visit an art Gallery.

17. Eat a bowl of Mussels at Loch Fyne.

18. Have a light lunch at the Lounge.

19. Eat a Schwartz Burger in Queens Square.

20. Visit the leisure pool at the Sports's Centre.

21. Visit Prior Park, the National Trust attraction.

22. Drink Italian beer at Lambetta's. (Are you starting to see a pattern here?)

23. Visit the Museum of East Asian Art...it's well worth it

Thats it for now...I'll add more as I think of them.
